چکیده

Identifying genotypes with a greater ability to absorb nitrogen (N) may be important reducing N loss in the environment and improving sustainability of agricultural systems. This study extends knowledge variability among wheat terms morphological or physiological root traits, uptake under conditions low soil availability, amount rapidity use supplied fertilizer. Nine durum were chosen for their different morpho-phenological characteristics year release. The isotopic tracer 15N was used measure fertilizer efficiency. results show that breeding did not have univocal effects on system (weight, length, specific etc.) capacity. differences studied when grown availability appear related more efficiency per unit weight length than traits. speed take advantage determined by fertilization, certain extent development photosynthesizing area. highlights some within species development, distribution, system, which suggests there sufficient grounds these traits positive adaptability difficult environments resilience climate change.
